So, today is a fun day. We are finalizing and sending in our album artwork in a few hours, and then tonight we will be heading to The Grove of Anaheim for the Orange County Music Awards. This year we are nominated for Best Indie Band! (Last year we were nominated for Best Live Band.)
I really hope we win, because I imagine us having a really awful acceptance speech in which our award breaks in half (like parker macy’s last year), maybe Dan tripping (not on stairs or anything, just while were standing on stage and falling into the crowd); and Joey getting so awfully tongue twisting that he accidentally says curse words. Then Adam saying something completely inappropriate into the mic. And then I’d leave stage without them out of embarrassment and we’d all look completely insane.
Well I really HOPE that DOES NOT happen; but it would be kinda funny; i mean in the future, looking back, it would be funny.
I don’t think we are going to win though, because the 4 other bands that are nominated are INCREDIBLE and we love each of them; and they all deserve it.
